Life-complex or Life's complex and the story of "If I would have to show you the most gorgeous thing in the universe, I would give you a mirror"

So I was wondering about what would be the ideal solution for an ideal pair after breakup. Moreover, ideal wouldn't be the the most precise word for them. They were a very good match, and let's say distance made them fall apart. Amidst the ever-hurrying world, the base ( the emotions ) would be immovable, assumed love goes both ways. In this case, the feelings would gradually get stronger over time, and since they both wanted to see each other, they made occasional dates, given the time. Some would agree, a little time off would harden, deepen the relationship, albeit some would have doubts about it working too. [ Conclusion: You don't know 'till you don't try. ] But! And here comes the part which I'm uncomfortable with. Decided to part ways, they try to keep in touch, as close as possible, and if the absence breaks a threshold, words go boom, and feelings start flowing like a river under monsoon time. Funny, that the phrase "I love you" could either build/hearten, or destroy/scare one, but that would mean there's something itchy about one's feelings. Or maybe she/he is just scared of the consequences, because what if this is just a "one time only" offer?

Let's start again. Option 1: Assumed everything goes well, they keep in touch, they secretly love each other at a distance, they date, they sleep together, and they know very well, how much they mean to each other. They get shivers when they touch, and kisses do not only mean lips joining for a common cause, but a small, forever-lasting minute, suppressed in that very moment. So after a while they decide to try anew, hope everything goes well and change where they must. But can people fall in love twice, in a relationship? That, I let it for you to decide.

Option 2: And now on to the more probable outcome. Things go well, though only for times they get the hang of each other, nevertheless, it's enjoyable, but the truth is, there is a miscalculation in this equation. Love. Love is a shitty bastard, not that I hate it, but it makes things complicated. Feelings... They got depleted along the way, changed, become only cartoons of their former selves. Kind of a mockery of love, and we could very well call it a "not with you, but not without you" kind of relationship. What if one decides it's better off without the remainders and mementos of love, but the other tries to hang on to the other? The ideal solution would be to simply get lost. Respect the other's decision, and act accordingly. Harsh, and painful, but the most linear way out. Forgive, not forget. Let themselves be what they were to each other and remember it that way.

For me, leaving the other be is a sign of uttermost respect. Thinking of her, what would make her happy, and what would she need, these things do not fade away with days, nor weeks, but they have to. If something does not work one way, the only solution is to try the other way around. Love is complicated, yet so simple, and it finds it's way through time, distance, hearts. Even if... And there's no IF.

Fuck it, I should have played Mahjong.
